Is anyone else having audio issues with the dialog scenes of this movie. I received several complaints last night and I have to agree that the dialog was barely audible in several scenes, especially Gary Oldman.

I am running analog sound into a CP650. Its not a print problem from what I can tell and I dont think its mechanical since other content plays through just fine.

I would like an answer but should know more tomorrow. I am using this excuse to upgrade myself to a digital reader which I should have installed by tomorrow's matinee.

Didn't hear any complaints from my account who did a record-breaking midnight show last night,.

Also have a drive-in account who is having a sky jumper dressed in a Batman costume do a dive into his drive-in right in front of the screen tonight and tomorrow. Am guessing it will drive 'em...well...batty.

There are about 3 parts in the film very hard to hear...I saw it on Christie 2 k...Seems to be on all prints also....

Have a cp650 as well using sr and no complaints after 3 shows.

Nothing I've noticed here. If you can narrow down where the problem is, I'll listen for it... maybe just missed it in all the excitement here!

I completed the install of the new digital reader before the first Sat matinee and it was a considerable improvement. Maybe something in the reverse scan system was flaky but my tech just went over it recently. Anyway its great to be a Dolby Digital theater finally!

I have had several other people from other theaters say they felt the mix was very annoying especially in dialog scenes where the L R channels were too high and too filled with extraneous sound.

Any truth to the possibility that studios are skipping the creation of an analog mix and simply creating a electrical 'copy' of the digital mix. Does anyone believe this could cause a problem?
