I went thru it today (monday 4/25/05) with a prospective buyer... Yes, a local investment group has purchased the property to clear out any all liens against the place but they are not interested in running the place... they are the ones that reduced the price to move the property and get it reopened.

All equipment is in place and operational for the cafe and two screens. The main cinema lobby is still not complete and the third screen is not finished both are about three weeks of hard work away from done.

I saw that Pepsi pulled their equipment so there are some big holes in the counters, but they can reinstall in a day.....

The roof, (seamed rubber) needs a lot of work, I was not able to get up there, but saw several leaks and ceiling damage on the third floor.

jholliger OFFLINE Expert Boarder Posts: 87 Karma: 0	Again in forecloser... owner not able to run a cash business, he didn't keep up with his bills and didn't even open his mail for months at a time... Court just ordered a sheriffs sale on all equipment, fixtures, and property. It really can be profitable just need an owner with movie experience... If anyone interested I'll post the sale date when it's set.
