I agree sheri. We live upstairs from our theater so it is really no big thing for us to be open. It snowed like a sumbitch yesterday and blew hard all day today (closing nearby highways) and while we didn't do well, we did OK and still sold loads of gift certificates as well.

We live only a couple blocks from out theatre as well.
We have never been shut down due to snow.
One time there was a snow emergency - no vehicles allowed on streets - but I still opened up and had a hand full of people who walked to the theatre, as they normall do.

Now I have cancelled shows due to power outages from thunderstorms. And I have shut down a movie when a tornado was spotted in town.
