TOPIC: Lemonade/ beverage Dispenser

Lemonade/ beverage Dispenser 07 Mar 2005 12:58 #9940

Where can I get one of those beverage dispensers that hold the product in the plastic tanks with a chiller built in. I want to serve Lemonade etc... aside from the 6 sodas I have on tap.

Check your local restaurant supplier who has new and used equipment. I always buy good used equipment. OR search Jet Spray on ebay there are usually lots of them.

I sell both Ice Tea and Lemonade from bag in the box through Coke. They therefore supplied me with a special additional 2 head tower for those beverages at no cost.

I think both are very good, and they sell well.

As indicated in previous posts, you can always buy your own.

However, after about 5 years of experience with these machines, I'd much rather find a deal where you get the product supplier to provide the machine. Maybe it's the setup I was provided, but I had frequent problems with those machines... bad seals, defective pump motors, etc. If the repairs had been my responsibility, I wouldn't have made anything off the product.

Just a thought, but if you can get the supplier to toss in the machine without offensively upcharging the product I'd go that way.

What you are looking for is a Crathco Bubbler, we have one that we use for Ice Tea and our own freshmade lemonade. It works great. Superior Products sells them. Here's a link: http://www.superprod.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=429393&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=114298

Yup, looks just like ours. We currently serve red punch and either orange punch or grape punch in ours. Very profitable mix using M & B concentrated liquid mixes. Like Roxy we got towers from our beverage supplier so that we run Raspberry Iced Tea and Pink Lemonade from a bag in the box in addition to the punches and standard carbonated beverages. Our machine was used and we needed to buy $100-$200 in parts to make it run correctly but we didn't argue as we got it for free!
Has been working trouble free now for about 4 years.
