Yes, there will be a lot of equipment there, including truckloads of seats.

It's only 45 minutes from me. I'll be there.

I believe that this about the third time in his career that Bruce F has gone out of business.

I suspect that much of the theatre stuff being offered came from the former Budco/AMC 4 Plex in York Pennsylvania which closed in mid October 2004 and which for several years up until its final closing had been operated as a discount house by his wife Wanda.

Just for clarification the Budco/AMC Stonybrook 4 plex closed sometime around 1993. It was never re-opened after AMC closed it. It is located on the east side of York. The Delco 5 plex located on the west side closed in October was built and operated by UA until about 5 years ago when UA left and Bruce's ex-wife opened the discount house.

Pamajestic is correct. The theatre that I was referring to was the Delco Plaza.

Well I went to the auction.

Most of the good stuff had been sold and removed long prior to the auction sale. What remained (and there was sure a lot of it) might charitably be described as "spare parts stuff".

The whole experience was not helped by an auctioneer who knew nothing about what he was trying to sell and who seemed more interested in just getting done quickly.

I was there as well. Only bought one item all day even though there were several other things that I would have liked to bid on.
The problem was that the auctioneer decided to sell large lots at various times when he wanted to move things along faster. In order to have purchased a few backup parts for my automation equipment I would have had to spend considerably more then what I wanted to, and would have had to take several hundred items (a large truck load) to get those few things I wanted.

Quite a few people were disapointed in the way it was handled.

I did get to talk to muviebuf and several other exhibitors though.
