I quit going ever since they hijacked it away from its creators (NATO of Pennsylvania and NATO of New Jersey)and moved it to Florida.

I get to the Orlando Airport at 6:00 PM Monday. The trick will be to get to the Marriott, get my identification and make it on a bus and to the screening by 7:30 PM.

Will he make it?
Will he fall asleep during the movie?

I can't go,but if I could it would be to pay tribute to Ralph Donnelly,Shirley Becker and the late Lou Lencioni-all influential forces in my life in the industry.

My wife is scheduled to have a series of EEG tests in the hospital during October to better understand her Epilepsy, and maybe find a better medication or consider surgery.

Where are people staying if not at the Marriot?

I'm staying at the Marriot Courtyard across the highway. It's $99.00 per night with a full all you can eat breakfast! It's worth the time it will take to get across the highway to the event.

I used priceline.com as always. (Travelocity has lots of places for +/- 50.00.) I have an Auto for one week from Thrifty @ 165.00. Hotel is a 3 star for 6 nights 265.00. Both prices include all taxes. 71.67 per day for car and room. If you are not staying at the Convention site you need a car. Ask Large. Everything seems close and it's all 20 miles on foot. Our hotel is 2.7 miles away and it's a quick zip in and out: free parking at Mariott.

I won't be there, because, as Groucho used to say "I can't belong to any group that would have someone like me for a member!"

However...feel free to knock back several martinis (with extra olives...they're protein, y'know!) in my honor/memory/whatever.
