Not sure what's up with the scarcity of advertising materials. I just had to go on eBay to get a poster for a film. Interestingly enough, it was cheaper than if i had ordered it thru "regular channels." This business never ceases to amaze me . . . .

Especially for the art and indie films I've been amazed how much they charge for a trailer and a one sheet! That's if they have one. The problem is this: ad slicks/trailers/one sheets go out in an avalanche when the movie is first in release: big grossing theatres are inundated with the stuff without even having to ask for it. I guarantee you when you mention this problem to the larger houses they have not got a clue what you're talking about. I like the E-Bay idea for odd ball/last minute stuff.
