Film-Tech ( http://www.film-tech.com ) has all the back issues of Kodak's "Film Notes for Reel People" and "Cinema Notes" as .pdf files in its "Manuals" section. Film-Tech's "Tips" also is worthwhile.

R.S. Engineering may have copies of the SMPTE Projection Manual:

Here is the BKSTS Manual:

There's a projection manual on ebay right now as item number 3819400776 and it's called, "The Expert Projectionist".

Okay, here's the low down on the Projection Manual. Originally the manual was sold through STS but they don't sell it any more. We have made a deal with B.K.S.T.S. to sell it. All the manuals are new and sell for $85.00 each. They are put together in a durable red looseleaf binder with section card separaters for each chapter. Shipping for the book is $5.00. Total cost to you is $90.00.

According to the link John gave to the BKSTS site's Projection Manual page, it is in the "A-4" format for which paper and binders are not usually available in this country, so if BigScreen does provide an A-4 binder as Dennnis ('dr') implies, it is to one's advantage to order it from them, since the Brits evidently do/did NOT provide the special binder, thinking that any Brit could find and buy the binder of his choice. Not so for us Yanks with our 'letter' or 'legal' formats which differ from the A-4 of Europe (A-4 is longer than our formats and would hang out of the endges of one of our standard 'letter' binders). And if BigScreen imprints the title on their binder, so much the nicer.
