Color this one WIERD. If you can't figure out what its really about from the trailer and they need to call it a "modern day wizard of oz" then it ain't gonna play in Peoria .... or Kansas either.

I'm looking forward to BIG FISH. My understanding is that its a fantasy that ends in all to real reality. Why was the father steeped in fantasy? What was the secrets he kept so well hid? Those are the questions that I look to be answered.

Well guys it can't be that bad. In its opening week Big Fish grosses over 14.5 mil. knocking LOR out of first place. I'd give it a shot.

WOW! We just opened "Big Fish" this week and had one of our largest opening weekends. We had close to 1000 people for 7 shows. I'm not certain yet, it may be tapering off a little too quickly though.

We will only be running it a week. We open "Calendar Girls" on Friday.

That's what I wanted to hear!

Good deal. I'm playing it in a few weeks and I'm promoting the heck out of it.

Let me know how Calendar Girls does. I'm getting it too.

I stole this line from Large:

Calendar Girls: Crack for old ladies.

It really brings out the older folks. Needs promoting but word of mouth is very good.

I don't know about crack, but I am an older lady and I really liked Calendar Girls. It played here last weekend and did quite well. The old gents liked it also.

I don't know if you have a Red Hat Society in your area, but if so, promote it to them.

The Red Hat Society is a National organization (they call it a disorganization) with local chapters of women 50 and over who go to art/entertainment functions wearing a red hat and purple attire. Basically, they have fun going places together. Here are a couple of links: http://www.redhatsociety.com/ http://www.members.tripod.com/redhathons/links.htm
