This is probably rhetorical because it looks like we'll be holding Elf on our final screen for Thanksgiving, but which looks stronger to you: Timeline or The Missing?

Timeline will not even open. The Missing is probably the stronger of the two but it is the wrong time of year.

I think I would go with MISSING. Simply because I haven't seen anything with Ron Howard's name attached to it fail.

mISSING: tOMMY lEE IN A FRIGHT WIG???!!!!! Hard to bite for me. He looks built for a suit.

Timeline: oh God. Paramount is so good to me and I cannot get psyched about either of these!

I guess I'd make sure on my counter programing.

Paramount is very good to me, too. Too bad they haven't had anything spectacular to offer for about a year and I don't see anything great in the pipe either. Seems like they could use some help with their selection of product.

I agree with you there.Paramount is loyal to their regulars customers, but they have been awful lately.I don't see TIMELINE or PAYCHECK doing anything.Don't really like THE MISSING from Sony either, but I'm playing it so they can pay their Fedex and fax bills!!(ha ha)

The problem with Paramount is that they hardly even try to make to make a big picture anymore. Everything is either a MTV or Nick picture or a relatively low budget flick like School of Rock. Personally, my biggest problem with Paramount is that they are really inflexable on length of engagement.

I think the 4 new ones finish this way; The Haunted Mansion, The Missing, Timeline and Bad Santa.

and the only one I want to see............ bad Santa. By the way: I did two seasons as Santa at a Sears in Hackensack, NJ. I loved being Santa, still do it a lot at a certain time of year, and own my own suit!

Mike, do you have the picture of me sitting in Santa's lap?

Or you with the two "elves?"
