There is no doubt in my mind that Hollywood sucks up to fan boys more than it does to movie theatre owners. While they show up and support theatre owners at places such as CinemaCon and Show East it's not like they seem to care much what theatre owners and operators think. But Comic Con? Hollywood is in a tither to give the fanboys what they want. And what they want is exactly what is not selling in movie theatres this summer. It's like listening to a Star Trek fan about what you should program. I can't tell you how many people have told me... "There's just nothing I want to see."

I think people want to see most of what is on the schedule for next summer. The studios pushed a lot of their schedule out of Summer 2014 and into Summer 2015 to avoid the World Cup.
