Every film company has sales reps who deal with theatres or a theatres' booker. Retro films (old films) are rented through those same sales reps. New films coat anywhere from $500 vs 50 to 70%. Retro films usually coast $250 vs 35%. You need to consider digital equipment ($50,000) as soon film prints will no longer be available.

Where did you find digital for $35,000 Slap? I've been quoted $50,000 to $60,000.

You can get used series 1 projectors with all the other bits and bobs for about $35,000. You can get a new S2K based series 2 with everything else for around $40,000.

Ahhh, yes, the baby NEC. That actually would be a perfect fit for Bob's small screens. Anything larger and you really have to go up to at least the Barco 10 or Christie One. Another benefit of the baby NEC is that it runs off a regular 110 outlet, so no need for an electrician!

How do you like it so far?
