It's easy: just say "there is no VPF." and watch the films come rolling in. You can feel them being happy.

I don't have a VPF and it has helped book marginal films. I still have been denied playing a few films on the break that I wanted.

We skipped the VPF as we don't like being beholden to anyone. I still think a more logical VPF would have been a set discount ($400-$500?) on any film played on the break to any theatre with no contracts involved for a set period of time. Just prove to them that you bought the required equipment with receipts. But, when has Hollywood ever been logical?
