Next Sunday night we'll host a party in the projection booth as we run 35mm for the last time. All past projectionists and a number of film buffs will toast the final run and wish us luck. Sonic crew arrives on Monday to pull the 35mm out and put in Christie digital projection. We'll keep you posted.

Congratulations Jay... I'd say a year ago at Show East I venture neither thought we'd be here today. The best part of digital is not feeling that you have a potential disaster looming over you every second. You'll be glad you did. Who is doing the install?

Mr. Hurley:
The series of classics that you are running for free. Did you start this while you still had 35 mm? Since the series are free to the public, with the ease of shipping a hard drive or licensing a DVD, are you getting rates good enough for snack bar sales to pay the rental? It seems like a great program.

Mike,
I am going with Sonic. They were just really professional and helpful all the way.

My (former) technician's company wanted to charge me a $100 site survey, even though he's been to the place hundreds times. Pay $100 to get a bid for a $150k job. :S

One more news piece. This one is from city about an hour away. I am thinking that will create a little extra business. Going digital a gamble in Princeton
