It used to be the multiplexes in the middle level markets in Pennsylvania which ran continuously would start their first show of the day begining 12 PM to 1 PM.
Now it seems that several chains (both first and second run) now are starting their first shows on every screen EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK (including Sundays) somwhere between 9AM and 10:30AM in the morning.
I have trouble believing that the grosses really justify this. Am I wrong?
I am sure to keep the costs down those personnel who are salaried now must work an additional 15 - 20 hours per week for the same money.
