We belong to NATO but the New England NATO appears to be a wholly owned sunsidiary of Hoyt's. No meetings, no publications, no nada. NATO does seem to work hard for theatre owners and any time I've ever had cause to call them I received direct information from Mary Ann Grasso and the recently retired Bill Kartozian. We attend Show West and East... do others belong? If so: why? If not: why?

We joined NATA California & Nevada. We were invited to one Manager's Meeting where we were shown product "reels" on VHS video through a "hair dryer" video projector. It was embarasing. Then we were told how to promote the films so we could win promotion givaways. I guess it wasn't geared towards theatre owners.
