That is why I like having at least 4 screens. Decision I do not have to make. We are playing it, nothing else to push it off. What else are you gonna play?

Assuming 1st run:
Top choice: Hunger Games
2nd: Wrath
3rd: American Reunion
4th: Mirror Mirror

2 weeks later: Three Stooges

What am I missing? (again assuming 1st run or even some other hi potential move-over)

Clash of the Titans was #24 out of 64 for us in calendar year 2010. Wrath is predicted to be $40m opening weekend.

I don't know how to feel about this one. the first one did OK, but just OK. It also had a bad stigma surrounding it. the trailer for the second one gets lots of attention and it LOOKS better but I have been fooled by that often enough to know it doesn't mean anything. WB has been promoting the heck out of it on TV so that's good.

I have a six screen so we will undoubtedly be playing it as March has been pretty spotty for releases and there isn't anything else out there...

Man am I going to have a hard time filling my screens in April! I am really like Wrath of the Titans now!

Titans will probably #2 for April after Three Stooges.

Please those of you who are passing on Titans what the heck are you playing?

Come on, Rufus, why would you have a hard time filling your screens in April?

Bring on the singing cowboys, the new Kirk Cameron movie, an Abbott and Costello picture and maybe dish night. Where is your showmanship? Why do you need Hollywood to fill your screens?

Gosh.

Three Stooges bigger than Wrath? The Three Stooges trailer is the worst trailer I've seen in a long time...

Boxoffice.com predictions are $13m opening weekend and $38m cume.

Not sure what people played instead of Wrath. Mirror Mirror did much worse. 2 out of 3 theaters in my area did approx. 35% better with Wrath over Mirror Mirror. The ones that did better with Mirror Mirror barely did better with it over Wrath.

Mike, did you take Mirror Mirror over Titans? No offense to Relativity, Open Road, CBS, Summit (non-Twilight), and the rest of the smaller studios...there stuff just does not perform as well. I was pretty surprised to see Relativity went 3600 locations.

Since you were not around back then you don't know that Abbott and Costello and the "singing cowboys" WERE Hollywood films. Besides Jack doesn't run that type of theatre. If you are an exhibitor I would think you'd have better things to do than mock those who have ideas you don't agree with. We didn't have trouble filling screens "back in the day". With rare exception Hollywood has slit its own throat with the garbage they produce. And at least Mr. Cameron stands boldly for something. What about you?
