Has anyone on our site had 3-D (either digital or 35mm) and dropped it? What was the reaction from both patrons and distribs? Have been asked this, and never had anyone who did it. If you can fill in the blanks, feel free. Thanks!

We installed 3D in late June, and have not run it since early July. Nobody seems to care...we still have it on hand though.

It depends on your crowd and the film. Theaters where we play both, the 2D seems to outgross the 3D consistently on the kid's films. But then you get the over-performance of The Lion King. 3D is still a head scratcher as far as I am concerned. Cut down the saturation, don't gouge the public on the upcharge and maybe it could stay around for awhile.
