This hotel room is starting to become a pattern. We keep buying hotel rooms where theatre owning types want to go and auctioning them off. Anyone going to telluride? Is it a hard town to find a room in?

I am going to my 11th Telluride Film Festival. I'm a projectionist. Just ask for Large. Because I work for the Festival, They house me.

(TFF on the cheap)

1. Stay in Ridgeway, 34 miles away.
2. Don't buy a pass.
3. Get your single admission tickets $15 per show. The best bets are The Max or The Chuck Jones cinema. They are the largest.
4. Do the free stuff. Conversation Series, Noon Seminar, and The Able Gance Outdoor Cinema (dress warm).
5. Hang out near the entrance to a cinema after the show goes in, usually the director or star takes off just after the start and you can talk to them then. Of course they are about to book accross town to catch another screening.

I am going to my second Mountainfilm in Telluride this month.
