So I'm opening a new theater and I was going back and forth with the idea of using assigned seating. As in, when people buy their tickets they choose where they want to sit as well. I know it's not that prevalent in the US so I was wondering if you thought it'd work here well or not? I planned on doing it either on new releases or maybe just on weekends.. it seems like it'd be more of an unneeded hassle on slower days or movies that had been out for awhile is why I was thinking of doing it like that.
Good idea? Bad idea? Any thoughts at all? Thanks.
