My wife and I are ready to finally realize a dream of opening a high end duplex luxury cinema in Long Island, N.Y.

We are trying to assemble a business plan and do the necessary due diligence but there is SO MUCH to understand. There is a lot of good information here and on the internet in general but not all that we need.

Is anyone out there with experience willing to have a nice discussion with me to help me understand the street level reality of this enterprise? I will pay for the call and we can consider it a holiday gift in the spirit of the season ;)

This will be a very different kind of theater and it may not follow all of the previously established norms so the discussion will have some hypotheticals thrown in for good measure (hence the need for an experienced individual).

Looking forward to all the help potentially on offer here. The more opinions and discussions, the better I will feel when making what will be the biggest leap of faith in my life.

Thanks and happy holidays,

Russ

Russ , I know Long Island very well as I was a manager and district manager for years, in movie theaters. I now own theaters in Charleston South Carolina. If I were to guess were you would do this it would be at the old RKO Rockville Center Twin. You can email me @ This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
