I know that it is not often done anymore, but I'm curious as to how booking is done in the Reperatory or Calendar style, where a film is run at different days and times of the week for a long run ( like a month for example ).

How are the terms done for such a run?

Do you just book for the whole multi-week run and then pay the % on what you actually do each week?

Do the distribs care that the film is not run every day of the week?

We run classics often, but have always done it for either one day or a full week. Now we are considering doing a month long classic series, in kind of a TCM style - not having the same film each day, but having many films throughout the month with a common theme, then publishing a calendar to advertise it.

Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful and appreciated.
