The national minimum wage is going up again on July 24th. This time it's going up to $7.25 per hour. Other costs are also climbing. Anyone planning price increases to cover the increase this month?

I'm thinking of concession price hikes, since I have low concession prices and room to go up. I just hate to mess with my price structure. Most nights I would guess 70 or 80% of my customers buy something from the concession stand. If I go up, I may not bring in much more money and I'll have fewer happy customers. Happy customers mean more return customers or more frequent visits to the theater.

What say ye?

It's all relative.

Washington's minimum is the nation's highest at $8.55. To that, add your share of SS, unemployment and state-required accident insurance.

Slap that is the smallest "Large" I have ever heard of. 85 is our small size. Our large is 170 and medium 130.

considering the costs of bags it's a good idea.

Maine just added movie theatres having to pay sales tax. Won't take effect until Jan if at all due to referendum.
