My case---5 theatres---no star trek what the he!!. Do they know something we don't?? This is a first for me with Paramount as have (or had) a great relationship. Little hard to work on virtual print cost for digital when not getting movies on the break.

Did they give a reason? Were they pulled after they had already been booked, or were they just not booked?

We had a verbal commit. But by "law" you cannot book a p[icture until it has been screened. They kept it in one but pulled the other. Very hard and fast minimum 3 weeks over Mem Day.

It is a bad sign for the film. As most want the max. They said "well you'll bring it in after 2 weeks." and I said "I don't see a free screen until August."

I wonnder with the Mex screens shuting down/ and maybe more by May 8th if they will not be looking for flue free areas to play. Obviously a fluid situation.

And me too re: Paramount/ they are great to work with as was Dreamworks.

Very strange as the reviews are very very good...I ask my film buyer and some theaters could not get a second print.

I couldn't get Star Trek either. My Booker said that there was a print shortage. He couldn't even get it for his own drive-in.

Probably because the local Regal 24-plex opened it with eight prints. I suspect that all the big chain multiplexes with 14 or more screens opened it on at least 1/3 of their screens.

Multiplexs by me don't have too many prints. I did get prints but this did not do what I expected. We were down from my estimates. I thought this was bigger than xmen and we did more on xmen opening weekend.
