The Olympian newspaper here in Olympia, Washington did a story about me today in their Sunday Supplement called "OlyInside". Here it is:

www.theolympian.com/living/highlight/story/810108.html

The online version only has one photograph. The regular newstand print version has several photographs including some classic single screen theaters local to me that came from my photo collection.

Update:

They have now loaded all the pictures that accompany the article here:

Great story Ken. If the Good Lord ever open the door for me to open my mini-cinema (80 seats) I'll need an installer. You'll be hearing from me. BTW, there are multiple photos with the on-line story by clicking on the one pic. I think there may still be a few 16mm theatres running in Canada. Robert at Robert Film Service in Quebec does a lot of work on 16mm. I purchased an Eiki 1510 from him a few years ago.

Having known Ken for several years, I can recommend him for any service work you might be inclined to have him do. His work with 16mm is well known, but he's also first-rate with most 35mm gear. If you have a bunch of old video games laying around, he can bring most of that up to operating condition, too.
