I have to say.... if I was going to skip it.... this will be the year. 40K in energy savings work on two theatres! But I remain tempted deeply. Hotel and air is way way down. Harrahs has rooms right now for 110.00 but I can stay at my favorite downtown Golden Nugget for 49.00. Anyone else new now on for the trip?

For those of you who do plan on attending ShoWest, please come visit us on the Trade Show floor, JKR Partners, Booth #535. When you do, let us know you are active on BigScreenBiz. Thanks.

Same deal here for Bally's also. Hard deal to beat!! If anyone is would like to talk about small town D-cinema, I would be delighted to tell you few things I have learned along the way. Cuemarks

okay I'm coming. Save some poker chips for me. Let's set up a meet time. Does after Indie Night work for all? Stay there or back to Paris/Bally's?

Prefer back to Paris / Bally's else we loose the bus transportation. Probably would get better attendance.

is there a good place to meet in Bally's? That's where the buses come to so it would be best to meet there rather than in Paris? M

I think there is a coffee shop close to the theatre entrance.

Hi,

I posted this question in a newer thread, but I've only received one response. As a first timer, is it worth it to register for the full package, or is it still useful to an independent theater owner to get the trade show and seminar package? The price difference is huge, and I don't want to go just to get me meals included. Are you all registering for the whole thing?

When I go to ShoWest, I always register for the full package. If I am already going to fly out to Vegas and get the hotel room, an extra $500 is not going to bust me. The meals are usually decent, and you meet a bunch of nice and interesting people.
