I was looking at setting up a My Space or Face Book for our theatres. It appears you hhave to register as a person and not as a business. Do you have a presence in either of those? Do you use it to market at all?

We have a facebook page with about 400 members currently. I've seen other Toronto independents up to 1000 people. It's a pretty effective marketing tool for cult films or films targeted to a younger audience.

You can register as a business or person. We're currently registered as a person and it works out well.

We are working hard to build our myspace page. It is a way to reach the 15-40yr demographic who no longer read the newspaper. Here's our site:
