After talking with several trade show vendors
prior to Showest, I was saddened to hear that
they were rationed only 3 guest passes per
booth! Many times, the small town exhibitors go to the BIG SHOW so they can see some of the new gadgets and other stuff by using a guest pass usually supplied by their equipment dealer or concession supplier.
This year was different...with the minimal number of guest passes, I know that many people that can not afford the full registration did not get to go to the trade show...I also know that some vendors after spending mucho-bucks on their displays were
upset that they were unable to expose their goods to athe maximum number of people! Of
course, Showest had available day passes for
A NOMINAL FEE! I do not understand what makes
this event & trade-show so special that they must insist on restricting trade show guests!
Look at NAB or other trade shows, the admission is usually FREE or a nominal $5-10
to get in! WAKE UP SHOWEST!! YOU ARE LOSING
