Starts Friday: Serendipity, Song Catcher, The Musketeer, and Rat Race. I hope Serendip is what people want: no guns/bombs/explosions. It will probably be the first test.

What do you think of Bandits?

What else are you opening?

Starting Friday:

1. Joy Ride
2. Serendipity
3. Dont Say A Word
4. The Others (holding week 5)

Next Week: Bandits

I am not sure what to think about Bandits, maybe it will do some business. We all could use a hit. I have been getting a few calls on it.

Starting today all on the same screen:
The Princess Diaries
The Musketeer
Captain Corelli's Mandolin

Rat Race just left - it is a terrible shame when movies in still in the top ten don't do anything monetarily and they are as fun as this one was. I would have hoped that people would have wanted to escape their current troubles, but no, not yet.

Mike,

Good luck with Songcatcher. If you let it play and find its audience it might do real well for you. We got 15 weeks out of it but we are in an area where folk and bluegrass are very, very big. It's very much a word of mouth picture. I don't think the trailer does the film justice.
