Far from our lowest opening (Superhero Movie). Within the range that I was expecting. Nothing great was not expecting much.

With nothing kid oriented coming anytime soon, it should have some legs. I expect we will do decent with it.

we only had maybe 15% of our seats full opening day, and less tonight!

I would have expected more like 80%!

I'm sure the lack of any TV ads untill the past week may have hurt it...

I wish someone would have advised me to pass on this one and take Mamma Mia instead!

Things might be a little better next week. Pretty much everyone was at Dark Knight this weekend.

It's not all that bad a kiddie movie, but aparently it's been in the can a while as the prints say '2007 version' rite on them...

I miss our old booker, Ike would have told us if he knew it was a pile of monkey poop and wouldn't have booked it.

I took my son to see it, left after 20 minutes. If they test marketed this to a bunch of monkeys, I'm sure they would have thrown dung at it. How does stuff this bad even get made? Where do they get the money? My guess is that we will see a lot less of this kind of stuff now that the credit markets are shutting down.

This film is a classic example of something obvioulsy made for video that was being thrown into theatres to "legitamize" the video release as being a "real movie". Any booker who could not see (or smell) this ought to be fired for incompetence.

And that goes for anyone who booked "Meet Dave" as well.

Man you guys are hard.

Our customers have enjoyed the movie. The kids (intended audience) have liked it alot. My 4 and 6 year sons have watched it alot. Will probably watch it more then Wall*E when it is all said and done.

Since there is no more kid product until Chihuahua, I am glad to have it.

I do agree with Meet Dave though.

That is really not surprising. WALL-E despite the Pixar name and Disney marketing is really not a movie for young children. It is more in the nature of an experimental cartoon.

BTW.... Chihuahua is one of the worst looking trailers I have ever seen. And you know what they say... if they can't even make the trailer look good ....fugetaboutit

Direct to Video for sure!

Can you beleave my boss was told " It's going to be the next 'Finding Nemo'" and he beleived it! What a horable comparison that was, maybe it could have been as one review said 'the next Doogal'

All said it is not the Worst kid film I have seen but would not make the top 100!
