I'm with you, Transit. Unfortunately, more than ever, parents are ignoring the "-13" portion of the "PG-13" rating. I've never liked the PG-13 rating since it's conception because it still implies that it's similar to PG. They need to rename it "YA" for Young Adult or something instead of just attaching a number to PG. The line between PG-13 and R is really being stretched lately. I feel a morality rant coming on, so I'll stop now.
I think the bat light idea is an excellent one, Mike! I wonder if it's possible to cut a bat shape from a piece of steel to put in front of the light. Hmmm... I did a mini version of a batlight for my son's birthday party last year using a View Master projector and a cardboard bat cutout and it was amazingly realistic.
