note by note the making of steinway piano...we open it today to the best review we have on a film in the last 11mo..

We have Steinway rep playing before each show..(had the piano delivered yesterday)

Lehman Brothers analyst Eric Handler is more optimistic. He says movies are one of the cheapest forms of entertainment outside the home, which would be a boon during a recession.

We have always done better in tough times too. People stay closer to home and a movie is a very cheap 2-3 hour event that gets you out of the house.

I grew up in the depression era. My father was never out of work. He was a projectionist making $20 a week. Big money back in the 30s. People always had that dime to go to the theatre. So I doubt that we'll ever seen the end of movie theatres (even single screeners). And I'm suspicious of the motives of anyone who says we will.
