Curtain, of course. My theatre has always had a curtain... 3 of them. I just put a new screen curtain in about a year ago, cost about 10 grand, but worth every penny of it.

It's not a theatre without a curtain, just a cinema.

Our main house still has a large red velvet curtain. It goes strait up I wish it did a spectacular opening but with almost every else without a curtain I guess our opening is spectacular!

We have one but its manual - i so wish we could press a button and open and shut it - seems like a cool thing to have.

We still have a curtain.
We show screen ads until show time, then close the curtain, make welcome announcement, then open the curtain as the movie begins.
