A few months back, someone posted the name and e-dress of one, possibly two, locations that will add a theatre's weekly showtimes to most of the major Internet locations. I tried doing a search, but must be using the wrong word(s).

Does anyone remember this?

The one most use is Cinema Source. Here is the link to the post you were looking for.

We just send it to her, and it seems to get distributed to everywhere it needs to be.

I get the impression that you don't pay anything to cinemasource and that you just e-mail your showtimes in. Is that true? Because I have a log in and have to pay them each month. For my single screen it is about $40/month or so. Am I getting screwed?

I send an e-mail to Cinema Source every week and I have never been billed for anything. No log in required, just an e-mail. It seems to be distributed everywhere.

We have been e-mailing a copy of our newspaper ad to " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it " for many years.
Our show times show up everywhere - Yahoo, IMDB, etc. So I assume that Cinema-Source is where it is coming from.
And they have never asked for any money.

I've never heard of Cinema Source asking for money to promote online movie listings. They derrive their income from people clicking to their web pages and viewing their advertising. Our movie listing information is in fact their content, they should be paying us, not the other way around.

they do provide cinemas email services and web site design and hosting: you may be using their services?

Thanks for the hyphen correct.
