In England the Sound of Music has been playing to packed houses who dress up and sing along. It's set to re-release here in the near future. Can Sound duplicate that otherworld of Rocky Horror?

I actually was dragged to one of these shows in Calgary a few years ago.

I have to admit it was a blast. Some very creative costumes. Special actions to go along with the songs.

There was an emcee that instructed everyone and acted as a guide. Of course he was in costume as an Austrain guy in a tux, and accent.

It was more of a performance than a movie per say.

I would go do it again in heartbeat.

The singalonga contract requires that you hire an approved "host" to conduct the procedings. The advertising and the venue must also be approved.

BTW this is not anything new. The Singalonga people have been doing the sing along SOM for years.

That link is an English outfit that sells stuff: Nun outfits, yodel devices, crosses, etc. Edelveiss! It's a 20th Fox so I am checking: will report.

I was talking to him about bringing it to Toronto, unfortunately the local theatre moguls blocked the possibility.
