we have adults, concession, child, seniors, family and movie club. I just saw a website for a cinema that has a price before 6pm, a price after 6pm and seniors before 6pm.. thats it, no child or students etc..I found that strange..but maybe we are the unusual ones with so many??

Our prices and price points are determined by having two multiplexes leeching my product. So, I have the standard General, Student, Senior, Matinee rates. But, I have a Cheap Nite (Wed) where all shows are the senior price.
Nice differentiator from the big boys. That and we try to focus the projectors a couple times a month. Oh, and the people behind the counter have personalities. But, I digress...

Adult
Child
Senior
Military
Student
Adult-Matinee

Child and Senior are the same price.

Military, Student, and Adult-Matinee are the same price.

Child, Senior, Military, and Student are available for any show time, and don't change between matinee and evening.

You guys with all those different prices must have a heck of a spreadsheet for your box office reports!

Mine are:
General $6.50
Children/Seniors/Matinees $5.00

wow..theres such a difference everywhere. I do wonder though at the really cheap priced places..is this why people say there isn't a lot of money to be made on the tickets? because they aren't charging much in the first place??
we don't have a cheap day or cheap prices before 5pm etc. we often discount a certain movie though and we also have a movie club and books of 10 discounted tickets
