Free Pass question for RTS folks....Do you have a button for a "free pass" for each admission price (Senior, Child, Adult, Matinee) or just one that reflects your Adult evening admission price.

I'm setting up RTS now and wasn't sure how to account for free passes.

Thanks

I checked the archives but couldn't find anything close.

You set your passes up in "setup-tickets-price". I've always used just one pass class, because we don't use it often. If you're looking for statistical separation... how many kids you pass in as opposed to adults, I suppose you could set up 2 pass fields... or more.

Be careful as you set up your system. In many cases the statistic reporting is based on the name of the item you're tracking. We've noticed we can't change the name of a concession item, because a new "name" generates its own statistical track.

I'm told that this is a major item that will be changed when the new version is released.

We just use one pass button. Its a pass do you really care if it was a child vs. adult? Even though I give out passes marked child and ones that anyone can use. I can flip thru the passes and quickly get a feel for how many of each are in the pile.

If you did a pass for each ticket class you would use up a lot of room on your screen.

Also the conssion thing is not only name but what I don't get is it changes when I change price. Now I have two lines to add up to see total sales for a year.
