I have spent the last hour on the archives with several search ways to phrase it but cannot seem to locate the posts that I know talk about clean screen.

Can you split a screen with the same studio?
Can you split a screen with two different companies on the same screen.
Do you have to get approval?
What are the penalties if any -

I watched a movie the other night at a theater I visited which had 10 screens playing 14 movies within the second week they split?

How do you and who do you speak with to get that type of a deal?

a split is often easy to get and it can be between any company..A split is granted when a pic is doing bsns but not enough to last on its own.A split is also granted on kids pics days adult pic nights..a split can even be a pic on an opening week rare but done..El cantante took splits on the opening week just so they could get screens...

You can also show double features with the same or different studios after the films have been out awhile.

Now double features at a Drive-in or Indoor? I thought there were problems at playing double features in indoor theatres.

I play double features once in a while. Had one a couple weeks ago and am playing one this weekend in my indoor single screen.
