After almost 30 years in the soundtrack business, we have recently expanded our activities and ventured into film distribution. We currently have 4 music docs to make available to theater programmers. This week three of them are playing at the Starz FilmCenter in Denver under the banner "Film & Frequency". Several film societies and indie theaters booked one or more films over the upcoming months.

"Sanctuary" offers a portrait of Hollywood composer and solo musician Lisa Gerrard, whose career was kick-started in the '80s by her stint as a member of the Australian / UK band Dead Can Dance. Part biography and part concert flick, the film is studded with high-profile interviews and plenty of performance footage. Premiered at this year's Seattle Film Fest. Played at the Egyptian in LA.

"Screaming Masterpiece" is a raucous overview of the eclectic and extremely individualistic Icelandic music scene, introduced to the rest of the world by such artists as Björk, the Sugarcubes, Sigur Rós and others. Played at the Egyptian in LA.

"The Sound of Rio: Brasileirinho" and "Moro No Brasil", both by Mika Kaurismaki, trace the roots of Brazil's music heritage through informal musical interludes and interviews with some of the country's finest musicians - Seu Jorge, Yamandu Costa, Ivo Meirelles... Played at Symphony Space in NY.
