I've been mud wrestling with U. to get the Mummy Returns. Did you know how many prints they have? 5500! And they've been impossible to get a print out of. We must really be small to them! Everyopne else is fine: Shrek, Pearl Harbor, Tomb Raider: no problem. Just as long as they don't check our gross with Blow. It's blowing. Anyone else having a problem with U.? We had the same deal with them on Meet The Parents.

I called them the other day and was told I could get it July 4th! I think I will just call again in a couple weeks.

Mike, in our area of Central Pennsylvania every one horse town has got a print of Mummy (some even got two). Prehaps you need a new booker!

Well.... I got the print but it was a pain in the butt. I know that everyone seemed to have one and that's what was buggin' me! Universal is the only distrib I have a problem with and it's odd. Our theatre isn't the last little theatre on their list, there are many smaller or with less than our three screens, but we are clearly at the end of the first run for wide release market plans. I do my own booking and they are very honest about what can and cannot be done. It only ticks me off when it's something like The Mummy 2!
