Anyone know if the terms for pirates are still up at the 62% or whatever? or have they reverted to 'Normal' terms?

Can't imagine anyone wanting to play it 2nd run if it's at 1st run prices!

I opened a print on Friday (June 29)... still at "National Terms" because it was prior to July 4... just needed a playoff until Transformers on July 3 anyways (new opening).

I was last told to pay 60% as it has underperformed there expectations.

I can't imagine bringing the title in at this point and paying 60%. I would think that there is plenty of other stuff to bring in much cheaper with the same demand. Who has not seen it that wanted to?

I just opened it this week too. Friday was near sell out. It is expensive but it is gonna play well this holiday weekend. When they ask me to hold next week I can then bring up the high terms as my reason for not holding.

How does that old pirate saying go? "Take all you can, give nothing back!"

Sounds like the Disney motto for film settlements! (Just kidding Chuck!)

As of last week they were still sticking to the first run terms, so looks like they shot them selves in the foot as non of us are going to be willing to take it anymore even IF they lower the rates, too many other good films out and lots newer!

Rotten shame, we would have been packed...
