Aloha everyone, I run a stadium seating, digital sound theatre in Hawaii. It was recently renovated from a tiny 2-plex. Amazing how nine screens fit in here. Let everyone know what you do right here!

I am a new user of this wonderful site.
I would love to see a floorplan of how you
accomplished the transformation from 2-plex
to 9-plex.
I am in the deep South of the US.
Sincerely,
Simfilms

Aloha! And I thought we were doing well when we added a 3rd screen! I'd love to see how 9 went into 2!

What's your square footage? I want to put a 2-screen (about 300 seats) in with full size arcade (coin pool, foos, etc. and a small cafe. An architect told me to plan for 7500-10000 sf, but I have an option for some free land at 6500 sf. Can I do it?

Go for it Susie, I am building a tri-plex with a cafe in the lobby and a bakery it roughly the same space. I will also have a full service restaurant on my second floor and a small suite of hotel rooms on my third. Aint it a wonder what you can do with those old empty downtown buildings??

Hey! Hello to all. I'm off in London but actually enjoying this more than I can say from afar. Where (if you can reveal). what geographic area? Our theatre is 50 x 100 so 5000. 3 screens and not a lot of lobby. We inherited it (opened the day the real Titanic set sail) so no options. If I had it to do I'd make the lobby bigger the better to party and sell people something while they hang out. So evry 10' would add 500 sq ft. |Sound to me like you have room for 3 and the lobby too! Make sure you plan for expansion because you'll want it. Cheers/ Mike

I am in the process of opening a closed twin.
I would love to see your plans on how you did it. I have 8200 sq. ft. Prior to this one of the theatres I managed was a twin converted to a 7, so I know it can be done, the trick is to do it right or you will pay for that mistake forever.
