Are you open on Easter?
All day or just part of the day?

Just wondering what others did. We only have evening shows on Easter no matinees.

No matinee, only one evening show at 7 PM, and since I only work the matinees on Sundays, I'll have the entire day off. My 3rd one this year.

open for three shows, 11am, 3pm & 7pm. Last year we did well with two shows, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Pretty weak at all shows for the entire weekend for me.

It was a very good weekend for me. I was in my 2nd week of Night at the Museum. On Easter Sunday I only ran a 7 PM show, but was suprised that it did fairly well, with 121 people. That wasn't up to par with the rest of the weekend showings, but for Easter Sunday, not bad.

Since we only had the one evening show it did better than a school night. The phone was ringing quit a bit when we were there in the morning doing paper work so maby a matinee would have done fine. It was cold here so maybe that is why people were looking for things to do.

As far as Christmas and Easter, I am normally closed. I tell my staff that if a manager and a staff person volunteer to work it, I'll be open.
If not, then I respect the family time of my family and those of my staff.
I'll never ask someone to work on these days.

Some things are still more important than making a few bucks.
