This spoof looks very funny in the previews I have seen. How well do you think this film will perform? What else this month do you think will do well?

Personally, I think it looks aboslutely stupid. I love the Scary Movie franchise, but Date Movie made me walk out.

I think a lot of people were expecting a good Scary Movie style spoof, especially since the trailer looked so funny.

After seeing that the trailer was essentially the first 10-15 minutes of the movie, many people were dissapointed. We had many many walk-outs as well.

I think Epic Movie only exists because Date Movie did well, and that was only because people didn't get what they were expecting.

I'll pass on Epic Movie (I didn't even laugh seeing the trailer the first time, and that was before I found out what it was).

If it's anything like Date Movie, then it probably won't do very well. When we showed Date Movie, we had quite a few people saying it was one of the worst movies they've ever seen and I can't remember any other movie where we've had more people walk out and ask for a refund then we did when we showed Date Movie.

If your clientele is made up of a great deal of teenagers then you should get it. "Date Movie" did $54 million solely because of the kids.

Of course kids do make a great deal of ticket buyers overall.

When I saw it/ I thought it looked funny. And I thought I've got a bunch of customers who love this stuff. I'm booking it. It's January! What the hell else do you do?

Epic is number one in my cinema-about 50% better than the next place film. At an ag of 50% this film represents a bargain in rental terms. I'm sure it will drop fast but still glad I booked it.

It's doing fine for us. As a reviewer said "at least this film is unlike all the films it skewers in that it is short."
