At the very end of the film they should have dropped a nuke on Boston. That way: everyone dies. Did they leave anyone alive? I liked the film. Old fashioned bad guys and true stories are a good hook for me. I had a lot of work done in Boston's Southie for many years and it really is a separated slice of reality. The area is famous for a lot of stuff but the chair in the parking place is an inviolate that many a newbie learns about the hard way. That means you drive along and hey! there's a parking spot. With a folding chair in the middle of it. So you move it and park. Why not? And find your windows broken and the hell beat out of it. Though they never slash the tires so as to not restrain your rapid departure. And call the cops and they'll say "you moved the chair?" and roll their eyes like what kind of idiot are you? Folks: they didn't make up Mystic River and The Departed or even large parts of Good Will Hunting: they just told the story as it is.
