I was all set to purchase a video projector but just read an earlier post on here that concerned me.

First, I understand that quality is based on chosing the right lens and bulb for the proper distance. Assuming that has all been taken care of...

If I run DVDs/Video Games through my video projector; is there a specific brand/model I should purchase in order to avoid a "Dark Shadows" type image. I'm concerned a moving image will appear 'fuzzy' once projected.

Need I worry?

I run video games and DVDs through mine and while it certainly isn't as bright or clear as my 35MM projector it is pretty decent and my customers like it. Opt for one with lots of lumens and a high contrast ratio. I had a devil of a time trying to position it so allow plenty of time and say a dozen curse worse beforehand. Mine is a BenQ PB8530 but you might want to try one with a detachable lens so you can get a wider angle one.
