What is your policy if you throw people out during trailers/the first 30 minutes of a film? Do you oblige if asked/yelled at for a refund?

I don't recall ever throwing anyone out so early!!! If we did though I most likley would not give a refund because their behavior must have been extremely bad for them to be kicked out, so its a fitting punishment id say!!

Bad behaviour + throwing out = no refund.

Simple math. If they start throwing a fit, ask them kindly to leave the premises. This is your business. Don't be soft.

I agree with the other people in that no refunds should be given to people who are thrown out of the theater. Presumably, most of the people that you would have to throw out would be kids and teens. They need to learn that their actions (talking, throwing things, being disruptive) are inapporpriate in a public setting. If they refuse to leave, you can always call the police and have them escorted out of the building. Maybe then mommy and daddy will stop giving their kids money if they are only going to waste it.

I have never had to throw anyone out. There was a drunk at a live show at The Rialto that kept screaming at the elderly woman who was performing that argeed to be quiet after some reasoning with the manager...and he did!

I am quite young myself and was raised in this generation but could never imaging behaving like anything but a decent human being while at a public place, business or someone's home. Can you imagine if everyone acted however they pleased? There would not even be theaters or anything else for that matter if that were the case.

Screw the refund, I think they should just count thier blessings you don't call the cops!

In my theatres I had a list of house rules posted in the lobby and on the back of the tickets I had printed that any violation of those rules would subject the ticket holder to removal from the theatre without a refund.
