Syriana, Capote, Narnia, Kong, Producers, New World, Harry, Good Night and, Pride and Prej, Jarhead, Chicken Little, Walk the Line............... "why don't they make good movies anymore?" fuggetaboutit! They make so many good films no one can possibly see them all!

Basically,You just named the best movies and only movies worth seeing this year. They all came out in a span of about 4 weeks equal to one month.
What about the last 11 months! It looked like everyone saved there money by steering clear of the last 11 months of features and spending now on these gems mentioned!

I agree it was a terrible year for good movies this year. But like Mike says, there are some really good movies out right now and there are more to come. Hopefully in 2006 the distributors will realize that they need to release good movies all year, not just in July and December.

Exactly there are alot of good movies but 90% of the ones you mentioned were exactly what Burneyfalls said and I quote "They need to release good movies all year, not just in July and December."
