So far reading thru the reviews I see the same thing over and over, "movie very rushed and chopped" "missing KEY charactors" "does not follow the book at all..."

I see a lot of board kids here, aparently not alot to hold their attention? Some kids/People leaving that thought it was too scary or just didn't like it...

Just wonder how the Word of mouth is going to effect us with the next 3 weeks!

We've been playing it now since Friday and have had large lines with no complaints. I don't think that the fact that it didn't follow the book has mattered much. It's a great adventure story any way you slice it. No pun intended!

I stopped by to see my old boss at the Regal Poulsbo 10 (across the Sound from Seattle) and he told me "Potter" gave him the best weekend he has had since that theatre opened in '99 - 3200 people on Saturday alone.

I've seen the movie 5 times now, and have to say that I will see it again and again. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I don't read the books though. heh. But I have to agree somewhat with what the press is saying. I was extremely disappointed to not see the Dursleys this year, and was mildly thrown off by the fact that Malfoy had but 3 lines in the whole film. Not to mention that the last 2 Potters had little extras at the end of the credits, and this one didn't.
