With summer ending, what movies are you going to be playing for the whole month of September? Here is what we would like to get for the September:

9/2 - Transporter 2
9/9 - The Man
9/16 - Just Like Heaven
9/23 - Corpse Bride
9/30 - Greatest Game

What do you think about the first weekend of September? They are also opening A Sound of Thunder, which has been moved many times, and Underclassman, which was suppose to be released earlier this month (BTW, why did they move Underclassman?).

After #*+@ years in this wacko biz, I can only tell you there is no such thing as September. There is only survival between summer and Thanksgiving.

That being said, I would do Corpse Bride into Wallace and Gromit. The first couple of weeks, just take your best shot...and have several "shots" to go with it!!

And several more shots in case you can't get your first choice. In short, take whatever you can get and hope.

I want to see Transporter and have no interest in Corps Bride.

Therefore, Transporter will make about $10M and Corps Bride will do $150M. That just seems to be the way.

Since we closed one theatre from April to Sept we have a lot of good films to choose from! At least at one location: Star Wars, Penquins, Wedding Crashettes, Madagascar, Charlie & Choco, Bad News Bears, War O' Worlds, Dukes, Smiths, Batbaby, and that's just the first week!
